HPE/National Instruments Edgeline EL1000

The HPE Edgeline EL1000 (Part Number: 785689-01) is a Converged IoT PXI Chassis. This Chassis by National Instruments and Hewlett Packard Enterprise is designed to work between information and operation technologies to integrate control and data capture. This IoT Chassis offers device management, system management, data center-class security and large storage capabilities in one converged chassis. 

This rugged system is designed to operate in harsh environments with high temperature, vibration, and shock levels. The HPE Edgeline EL1000 is considered an ideal solution for the expansion of the IoT infrastructure. On this Chassis, there are four USB 3.0 Ports, two 2.5” SSDs or HDDs, and two expansion slots. 

The Edgeline EL1000 has a modular construction. You can configure this system by adding or removing different kinds of modules or cards per your requirements. Networking options of this converged system include 2 networking ports (10G SFP+ or 1G RJ45). For processing power, the Edgeline EL1000 can be loaded with a compatible type of ProLiant Server Blade. There are two server blades available for this Chassis: ProLiant m510 and ProLiant m710x. The ProLiant m510 comes with an Intel® Xeon® D CPU and the ProLiant m710x comes with an Intel® Xeon® E3 CPU. 

The HPE Edgeline EL1000 also features a dedicated iLO RJ45 port for the deployment of Integrated Lights Out (iLO) security and remote management system. This Converged IoT PXI Chassis can be acquired with 2 PCIe slots or 2 PXI/PXIe hybrid slots. On an optional basis, 2 Mini-PCIe slots can also be included in this system.
